Prospecting and sampling confirm high-grade surface mineralization and identify new prospects

VANCOUVER, BC TheNewswire - September 13, 2022 Heritage Mining Ltd. (CSE:HML) (" Heritage " or the " Company ") is pleased to report the preliminary results from its ongoing exploration program at the Company's flagship Drayton-Black Lake project (the " Drayton-Black Lake Project ") and provide an update on upcoming exploration activities. The Drayton-Black Lake Project is located in northwestern Ontario, approximately 20 km northeast of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, totaling approximately 15,257 Ha and lying near the northern margin of the Wabigoon Sub‐province within the Abrams‐Minnitaki Lake (" AML ") Greenstone Belt (Fig. 1) along strike of and contiguous with Treasury Metals Inc.'s Goliath Gold-Silver Complex.

The Company initiated its inaugural field program at the Drayton-Black Lake Project after a systematic review of archived mineral exploration data for the Drayton-Black Lake Project area. The new Heritage dataset, which includes surface exploration and diamond drilling data for over twenty base and precious metal mineral occurrences and prospects, was compiled from public data and virtual data rooms of several property vendors. We identified high potential gold, gold-silver and gold-copper areas (incl. targets/prospects) for follow-up work (Fig. 1). These include the Moretti, Alcona, Split Lake, Alkenore, McCombe, Drayton and Forster areas.

A Phase I field program has been completed for several areas. The program, which began in July with three field crews, focused on priority targets/prospects within the initial exploration areas and consists of confirmation mapping and sampling along with detailed regional prospecting. New logging roads and our new compilation data provide good spatial control and efficient access to throughout the property.

All samples in Phase I of the 2022 field program were analyzed for gold and copper only.

1. Large land package in a prospective, under-explored greenstone belt along strike of TreasuryMetals Inc's Goliath Au-Ag Complex:

New logging roads provide unprecedented access throughout the Drayton Black-Lake Project.

Regional prospecting has identified new mineralized prospects close to new logging roads.

Secured additional land position (Split Lake Extension), wholly owned, totaling 1,036Ha.

2. Completed a 1,574 l-km airborne geophysical survey (Mag / EM) over the Property:

High resolution (100m line spacing) helicopter magnetometer and electromagnetic (ProspecTEM) survey data provided new detailed map control regional structural interpretations.

Detailed magnetic map patterns (identified in the magnetic derivative data sets based on interpreted folds, flexures and fault patterns) highlight the structural complexity of the property and provide context for our first pass target evaluation and the newly identified prospects.

EM anomalies will be field checked into the fall as certain styles of mineralization in AML greenstone belt are associated with semi-massive sulphides. Several targets/prospects in the Drayton-Black Lake Project have a precious metal – base metal association, which has been confirm in the current field program.

3. Several styles of high-grade mineralization have been noted based on field observations and early assay results from the Phase I field program (confirmation mapping and sampling of priority targets):

Alcona Area (includes Alcona Mine, Alcona West, New Millennium Targets and other prospects):

Confirmation sampling and prospecting on exposed bedrock at the Alcona Mine prospect (vein 1, vein 2, vein 3 and central vein) and the Alcona Mine West (" AM-W ") prospect identified extensive quartz-carbonate vein arrays in strongly sheared (E-W trending) metavolcanic rocks; locally associated with extensive sulphide mineralization (vein and altered wall rock) consisting of galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite and minor pyrrhotite:

Sampling of central vein 3 returned values of 58.1 g/t, 33.5 g/t and 0.006 g/t Au.

Sampling of veins 2 and 3 returned results of 0.057 g/t, 0.128 g/t and 2.3 g/t Au.

Confirmation sampling and prospecting on exposed bedrock in Trench 2 and Trench 5 (historic trenching) at Alcona New Millennium prospect identified extensive shear-hosted mineralized quartz-carbonate +/- sulphide veins:

Sampling of individual veins in Trench 5 prospect yielded results of 0.013 g/t, 3.75 g/t, 46.5 g/t, 32.6 g/t Au

Sampling of individual veins in Trench 2 prospect yielded results ranging from below detection to one sample of 4.21 g/t Au.

Confirmation sampling and prospecting at AM-W identified a more complex vein array in this area comprised of variable trending quartz veins (5-75 cm wide) in a folded and sheared metavolcanic rock package:

Sampling of individual veins returned values of 1.345 g/t, 12.45 g/t, 6.09 g/t and 24.6 g/t Au from the Pond Target (Powerline prospect).

Moretti Area (includes Moretti ("Main Trench"), Rosnel, Bellekeno, Clamshell Lake and Black Lake Targets and other prospects)

Prospecting and chip sampling results included:

Grab samples from o/c returned grades up to 0.949 g/t Au.

New "Corner" Prospect identified adjacent to logging road:

20 m wide zone of sheared altered metavolcanic rocks.

Narrow stockwork veins throughout (Py, Cpy +/- Aspy).

Two samples returned values of 0.137 g/t and 0.136 g/t Au.

Results pending for other prospects.

4. Assay results are pending from several of the other exploration areas, targets and prospect.

Peter Schloo, CEO of Heritage Mining commented, "We are pleased to report the first assay results from our 2022 field program. These initial results from our confirmation program are very encouraging and demonstrate the high- and extensive footprint of gold mineralization at Drayton-Black Lake. Our field team noted many instances of extensive sulphide mineralization in veins, highly altered adjacent host rock and these assay results confirm the association with high-grade gold mineralization. The New Millennium prospect, which has never been drilled, displays similar mineralization styles and high-grade gold tenors (up to 46.5 g/t Au in current sampling) and remains a priority target for our next phase of work. Field work continues in our priority areas and we look forward to communicating additional findings and drill targets to the market in short order, and we remain very excited about this project."

The Company's field crew continues to conduct prospecting, mapping and sampling on priority target areas. Upcoming field work will focus on more detailed systematic mapping and sampling (e.g., channel sampling of exposed mineralized vein systems) of our priority areas (Moretti, Alcona Mine, Alcona West and Alcona New Millennium). Detailed mapping will focus on i) vein classification, orientation and mineralization, ii) wall rock identification, alteration and mineralization,

ii) gold (silver) deportment and iv) expanded multi-element analysis to determine exploration vectors and prioritize current targets for the planned drill program. Additional prospecting will be completed around i) our priority areas, ii) historic targets not yet investigated and iii) new prospects identified in our Jul-Aug field work.

Upcoming desktop work will include i) continued compilation of historic data, ii) processing enhancement and interpretation of new geophysical (Mag+EM) data, iii) review and analysis of historic till sample data (i.e. 2018-2020 ODM till - Au grain studies) and iv) drill target preparation (e.g., 3D compilation and interpretation).

ABOUT THE DRAYTON-BLACK LAKE PROJECT

The Drayton-Black Lake flagship project is located near the town of Sioux Lookout in Northern Ontario and comprises more than 15,000 Ha within the Abrams‐Minnitaki Lake Greenstone Belt along strike of and contiguous with Treasury Metals Inc.'s Goliath Gold-Silver Complex. There are numerous historic high-grade gold (silver, copper) occurrences (incl. past mining operations) and showings throughout the property. All set within a broad multi-kilometer regional-scale shear zone and related secondary and tertiary structural elements. Mineralization is typically shear-hosted quartz- carbonate veins with minor sulphides. Data from historic reports indicate a high silver content (2:1 up to 10:1 Ag:Au) with a galena (+/- Py, Po, Cpy, Sphal) association. Locally, mineralized massive sulphide (Py +/- Cpy) occurrences have been documented. In the AML greenstone belt, some of these sulfide rich occurrences have been reclassified as a hybrid or pre-orogenic atypical greenstone gold (POAGG) by some authors (e.g., Treasury Metal Goliath Deposit).

Heritage employs a rigorous quality management system for field sampling and analysis. All samples and sample sites are described, photographed and geo-referenced and digitally archived at the time of sample collection. Material is securely bagged at the sample site and returned to the field office for secure storage. Sampled are delivered to ALS laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario for prep and analysis. Samples are crushed (1 kg) and pulverized (1 kg; PREP-31). Au values are determined by fire assay (Au-AA23), overlimit (Au) are treated with a gravimetric finish (Au-GRA21). Cu values have been determined by Trace Cu – four acid digestion (Cu-AA61 + GEO-4ACIDo). Pulps and rejects are retained for check and duplicate analysis.

Power Nickel Inc. (the "Company" or "Power Nickel") (TSXV:PNPN)(OTCQB:CMETF)(Frankfurt:IVVI) is pleased to follow up on the recent release of the NI 43-101 Technical Report and Mineral Resource Estimate ("MRE") on the "Nisk" Nickel project with the commencement of the second round of drilling. The NI 43-101 Technical Report and Mineral Resources Estimate for the Nisk Project was filed on SEDAR on August 30, 2022

The Nisk Project is located in the southern portion of the Eeyo Istchee James Bay territory, Québec, a region that is the site of a number of mining projects (Figure 1) and improving infrastructure (Figure 2).[1]

[1] References to nearby properties is for information purposes only and there is no assurance that Power Nickel will achieve the same results as on the nearby properties.

Figure 1 - Location of the Nisk Project with respect to the location of other known deposits.

Figure 2 - Location of the Nisk Project with respect to the current infrastructure available in the area.

Power Nickel completed the acquisition of its option to acquire up to 80% of the Nisk Project from Critical Elements Lithium Corp. (CRE:TSXV). The Nisk Project comprises a large land position (20 kilometres of strike length) with numerous high-grade Nickel intercepts. Since completion of the option, Power Nickel retained 3DGeo Solution Inc to create a geological model of the Nisk Project and used this as a guide to the very successful initial Power Nickel 2400-metre drill program completed last December and reported in March of 2022. (See figure 3 below, modified from Press Release dated March 30, 2022).

On the basis of this drill program and the historical drill results, 3DGeo Solution Inc was mandated to conduct a Mineral Resource Estimate and to prepare a NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Nisk Project. Engineering work related to defining a constraining pit shell and underground mineable shapes was contracted to InnovExplo Inc. The Highlights of the Mineral Resource Estimate are below.

Table 1 - 2022 Nisk Project Mineral Resource Estimate.

Note: NiEq = Nickel Equivalent, Ni = Nickel, Cu = Copper, Co = Cobalt, Pt = Platinum, Pd = Palladium, Au = Gold, Ag = Silver, % = Percent, g = Gram, t = Metric tonne

Notes to Accompany Mineral Resource Table:

1. The Independent Qualified Persons for the purposes of this Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), as defined in NI 43-101, is Kenneth Williamson, P.Geo.. (OGQ # 1490) of Solution 3DGéo inc. The effective date of the estimate is May 17, 2022.

2. The estimate of the mineral resources of the Nisk Project complies with the "CIM Estimation of Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves Best Practice Guidelines" of November 29, 2019. The Mineral Resources were estimated in accordance with the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (CIM), CIM Standards on Mineral Resources and Reserves, Definitions (2014), and Best Practices Guidelines (2019) prepared by the CIM Standing Committee on Reserve Definitions and adopted by the CIM Council.

3. These mineral resources are not mineral reserves since their economic viability has not been demonstrated.

4. The resources are presented before dilution and in-situ and are considered to have reasonable prospects of economic extraction. Isolated and discontinuous blocks with a grade greater than the selected cut-off grade are excluded from the estimate of underground mineral resources. The blocks that must be included, i.e., isolated blocks with a grade below the cut-off grade located within potentially mineable volumes, have been included in the mineral resource estimate.

5. As of May 17, 2022, the database included a total of 66 drill holes (59 historic and 7 recent 2021 drill holes) totaling 15,266.3 meters of drilling.

6. A value of half of the assay lab detection limit for each element was used as a grade for the un-assayed core.

7. The assays were grouped within the mineralized domains in composites of 1.00 meters in length.

8. The block model was prepared using Leapfrog® Geo and Edge software. The block model consists of 2-meter parent blocks and sub-blocks of 1 meter. The block model has a dip azimuth of 340°.

9. An interpolation according to the "inverse distance squared" ("ID2") method was performed to estimate the grades in the interpreted mineralized volume.

10. An interpolation according to the "inverse distance squared" ("ID2") method was performed to estimate the Density (SG) in the interpreted mineralized volume. Sample intervals with missing SG values were calculated based on a strong correlation with %Ni. The calculation used was SG = (0.7001 x %Ni) + 2.6751.

11. The "Open Pit" mineral resources are presented at a cut-off grade of 0.33 %NiEq and are confined within a "Whittle" pit shell. The "Underground" mineral resources are presented at a cut-off grade of 0.91 %NiEq and are confined within volumes defined using "DSO" (Deswik Stope Shape Optimizer). These volumes correspond to groups of contiguous blocks with a reasonable size to be exploited by underground mining methods.

12. The engineering work required for the cut-off grade estimation and the creation of the DSO volumes were performed by InnovExplo Inc., and the following economic parameters were used: US $8.00/lb Nickel, $3.00/lb Cu, $25.00/lb Cobalt, $1000/Oz Platinum, $1000/Oz Palladium, $1300/Oz Gold, and $17.00/Oz Silver; Exchange rate of USD/CAD 1.30, metallurgical recovery of 85%, total processing cost CA $40.00/t, mining cost CA $6.00/t, mining overburden cost CA $4.20/t, underground mining cost CA $110.00/t, G&A cost CA $12.20/t, northern logistics costs CA $10.00/t. It should be noted that the G&A cost could be underestimated depending on the extraction sequence chosen.

13. The independent qualified person is not aware of any environmental, licensing, legal, title-related, tax, socio-political or marketing-related issue, or any other relevant issue that could have a material impact on the estimate of mineral resources.

14. The numbers of tonnes are rounded to the nearest hundred to reflect uncertainties, which may cause slight differences.

Figure 4 shows the grade of the Nickel Equivalent (%NiEq) mineral resources and Figure 5 shows the mineral resource classification (indicated and inferred). Note that portions of the deposit still contain unclassified mineral potential and requires more in-fill drilling to potentially include this in a future updated MRE.

Figure 4 - Isometric view of the 2022 Nisk Project Mineral Resource Estimate, showing both the open pit constrained resources (using a cut-off grade of 0.33 %NiEq) and the underground constrained resources (at a cut-off grade of 0.91 %NiEq).

Figure 5 - Isometric view of the 2022 Nisk Project Mineral Resource Classification, showing both the open pit constrained resources (using a cut-off grade of 0.33 %NiEq) and the underground constrained resources (at a cut-off grade of 0.91 %NiEq).

Figure 6 below shows the drill targets for phase 2 of the drilling at Nisk.

As a follow-up to the filing of the Technical Report, 3DGeo Solution (3DGS) was mandated to design a drilling program aiming at infilling gaps within the defined resource area and to expand the known mineralization along identified higher-grade shoots.

This second round of drilling, consisting of approximately 5,500 meters of drilling, aims at reaching over 15 of these different targets. GeoVector Management Inc is mandated as the operator of the current drilling program.

"We are very excited to get back to drilling and building on our resource at Nisk. The initial round of drilling was done largely to verify the historic resource and allow us to post the inaugural NI 43-101 Technical Report and MRE. This round, based on what we've learned from the MRE study, will enable us to better explore and we hope to expand the resource as we look to demonstrate Nisk has the potential to become Canada's next Nickel Mine. The plan is to drill around 5,000 Metres but will adjust that to opportunities on the ground. We would expect the drilling program to continue into December and we will provide updates as progress dictates." commented Terry Lynch CEO of Power Nickel

Kenneth Williamson, P.Geo., M.Sc. and Matthew DeGasperis, P.Geo., B.Sc., from 3DGeo Solution Inc and consultants to Power Nickel, are the independent qualified persons who have reviewed and approved the technical disclosure contained in this news release.

Power Nickel is a Canadian junior exploration company focusing on high-potential copper, gold, and battery metal prospects in Canada and Chile.

On February 1, 2021 Power Nickel completed the acquisition of its option to acquire up to 80% of the Nisk project from Critical Elements Lithium Corp. (CRE:TSXV)

The NISK property comprises a large land position (20 kilometres of strike length) with numerous high-grade intercepts. Power Nickel is focused on expanding its current high-grade nickel-copper PGE mineralization Ni 43-101 resource with a series of drill programs designed to test the initial Nisk discovery zone and to explore the land package for adjacent potential Nickel deposits.

Power Nickel announced on June 8th, 2021 that an agreement has been made to complete the 100% acquisition of its Golden Ivan project in the heart of the Golden Triangle. The Golden Triangle has reported mineral resources (past production and current resources) in a total of 67 million ounces of gold, 569 million ounces of silver, and 27 billion pounds of copper. This property hosts two known mineral showings (gold ore and magee), and a portion of the past-producing Silverado mine, which was reportedly exploited between 1921 and 1939. These mineral showings are described to be Polymetallic veins that contain quantities of silver, lead, zinc, plus/minus gold, and plus/minus copper.

Power Nickel is also the 100-per-cent owner of five properties comprising over 50,000 acres strategically located in the prolific iron-oxide-copper-gold belt of northern Chile. It also owns a 3-per-cent NSR royalty interest on any future production from the Copaquire copper-molybdenum deposit, that was sold to a subsidiary of Teck Resources Inc. Under the terms of the sale agreement, Teck has the right to acquire one-third of the 3-per-cent NSR for $ 3 million at any time. The Copaquire property borders Teck's producing Quebrada Blanca copper mine in Chile's first region.

Three New Low to High Sulphidation Projects

Forte Minerals Corp. ("Forte" or the "Company") (CSE: CUAU) (OTQB: FOMNF) ( Frankfurt : 2OA) has added three new exploration projects to its portfolio of gold prospects in Peru following a 4 month regional geological reconnaissance program to follow-up on recently awarded concessions that were staked through a remote sensing targeting program.

Patrick Elliott , President and CEO of Forte Minerals comments "This is especially exciting for the Company as the remote sensing targeting program has proven to be consistently effective based on surface follow up results. Our systematic approach to regional exploration and new project generation is working and the Company is thrilled to have expanded the portfolio of prospects through this process. "

Pursuant to our press release on April 20 th , 2022 , an extensive regional mapping and sampling exploration program was launched and successfully executed to follow-up on 10 satellite targets in the district surrounding the Pucarini epithermal gold project. In late 2020, the Company staked 18 regional claims surrounding Pucarini, comprising 16,100 hectares. The area selection was guided by knowledge gained at Pucarini to search for expressions of similar hydrothermal alteration signatures recognized in ASTER satellite imagery as part of the Company's regional generative exploration program. Following the successful surface exploration programs at Pucarini that identified anomalous gold on surface, priority was placed on controlling additional prospective ground in the district. This involved initiating a regional exploration program with based on field sampling that included collection of 287 rock samples and 44 soil samples for multi-element analysis by ALS-Peru using their ME-ICP41 and Au-AA23 methods. Alteration and geological mapping were also completed on 20 claims that includes two more claims staked in July 2022 comprising a total of 18,100 hectares. Based on the exploration results, a total of six concessions covering 5,500 hectares over 3 separate prospects with favorable field geology, alteration and geochemistry of intermediate to high sulphidation epithermal gold systems were kept for future exploration work. Fourteen concessions were dropped due to low exploration potential.

Results from the regional exploration follow-up work undertaken by Forte geologists from April-September, 2022 revealed several hydrothermal alteration zones and returned anomalous gold on several concessions. A total of 3 remote sensing targets were given priority.  One of these properties, named Pucarini North is immediately northwest and adjacent to Pucarini. The alteration zone at Pucarini North is extensive, pervasive and especially interesting as several rock chip samples returned anomalous gold. Additional geological and structural mapping combined with sampling (soils and rock geochemistry) is currently underway to understand the extent of mineralization and the relationship with Pucarini.

As a result of the regional follow-up sampling and mapping program, the geological team recommended retention of six concessions totalling 5,500 hectares, which have been ranked in order of interest. The six concessions are parcelled into three separate prospects: NWC, GRP014, and Pucarini North.  All three prospects will require further investigation by geological mapping and sampling, and potentially geophysical work to better understand the extent of alteration and mineralization.

Demonstrating the remote sensing targets identified in the generative stage represent zones of alteration and mineralization confirmed by ground follow-up is especially encouraging to the Company.  This has allowed expansion of the portfolio of prospects in the region and adds confidence that the exploration process adopted by the Company is effective.

Fabled Copper Corp. ("Fabled Copper" or the "Company") (CSE:FABL)(FSE:XZ7) announces that in August 2022 the legacy site clean-up was successfully accomplished under time and under budget on its Muskwa Copper Project. See Figure 1 below

Figure 1 - General Property Location

The Muskwa Project is comprised of the Neil Property, the Toro Property and the Bronson Property located in northern British Columbia. The Bronson Property was the location of the legacy exploration camps and related equipment circ 1971 left behind. See Figure 2 below.

Peter Hawley, President, CEO reports; "We commend Tom Fulton, Chair, Director of the Northeastern British Columbia Wildlife Fund (NEBCWF) for spearheading the Gataga River Basin clean-up, which took place in August 2022. This project involved the clean-up and removal of 119 abandoned fuel drums (weighing 2,304kg) and 1,896kg of other assorted waste from an area of the Gataga River Basin commonly used by both northern mountain caribou and thin horn stone's sheep.

The project was managed by the NEBCWF in partnership with the Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia, Fabled Copper Corp., North Country Projects Ltd., Shifting Mosaics Consulting, Northern Fire WoRx Corp., Stone and Folding Mountain Outfitters, Qwest Helicopters, the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and we acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.

We acknowledge that this project occurred on lands and in watersheds of importance to Kaska, Fort Nelson First Nation, and Treaty 8 Nations. We are honored to share responsibility for the stewardship of these places and all who inhabit them for our current and next seven generations and beyond."

The NEBCWF was notified of the contaminated sites in 2017 by a FLNRORD employee engaged in a mountain goat survey in the Gataga River basin.

On July 26 2018, a NEBCWF crew travelled to the Gataga sites to inventory what was there, obtain flying distances, and assess airstrip condition in order to develop a cost-estimate for clean-up. This trip was paid for by the NEBCWF. The crew located 119 fuel drums across the three sites as well as a variety of other waste: from the remains of old buildings, to cans and bottles, to appliances. Much of the waste likely originated from the historical Gataga Camp which was abandoned in 1971 (See Photo 2).

NEBCWF volunteers also observed that the area was used extensively by thin horn stone's sheep and northern mountain caribou, which had left many tracks within the basin, and was ideal habitat for grizzly bear and other large carnivores.

Over the next few years, NEBCWF contacted local guide outfitters, the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, the Peace-Williston Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program, Ministry of Environment, and the Muskwa-Kechika Advisory Board (M-KAB) to explore cost sharing possibilities for the Gataga clean- up. NEBCWF also connected with other organizations for funding and project support and reached out to Kaska Dena Council, Kwadacha Nation, and Daylu Dena Council to engage them for interest. The NEBCWF received support letters from all three Indigenous Communities as well as the NEBCWF executive, M-KAB, and the Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia. In addition, NEBCWF itself donated to this project and notified local outfitters (when able to get a hold of them) of project timing so as not to interfere with their activities.

In early July 2021 Fabled Copper's crew began to work in the area and were notified about the legacy camps and fuel barrels in the Bronson area. Peter Hawley, President, CEO visited the site in early August 2021 and this is what he had to say, (CLICK HERE).

This led to a meeting with Jim Fulton, NEBCWF President and Peter Hawley while he was a site, see Photo 1. Jim was presented with a complete inventory of all materials left behind at the site by Windermere Exploration in 1971 that was documented. See Photo 2

PHOTO 1 - P. HAWLEY, LEFT; JIM FULTON, RIGHT

PHOTO 2 - LEGACY 1971 INVENTORY LEFT BEHIND

In addition, Fabled Copper pledged its support to clean up the sites by supplying helicopter time for manpower and slinging loads.

The final clean-up began on August 6, 2022, with the involvement of several area businesses and non-profits supporting the NEBCWF.

Though managed by the NEBCWF, this initiative involved several local businesses and non-profits who aided with logistics, labor, equipment, funding, and transportation. The WSSBC obtained and provided $75 000 in funding which was matched and exceeded by the following participants: Fabled Copper Corp., North Country Projects Ltd. (NCPL), Shifting Mosaics Consulting (SMC), Northern Fire WoRx Corp. (NFWRx), Stone and Folding Mountain Outfitters, and Qwest Helicopters (Qwest). The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) also contributed to the clean-up through waiving dump fees for the associated waste. We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.

The legacy Gataga clean-up began on August 6, 2022. To reduce transportation costs, NEBCWF crew camped in the area for three nights while sorting waste from the identified clean-up sites into piles for transport and disposal. Wood waste was burned on site (following the regulations) and metal waste above a certain length was cut into smaller pieces for easier transport. Piles were not more than 2m x 3m at any time. (PRESS HERE for video)

An AStar helicopter forwarded waste piles (PRESS HERE for video) to a central clean-up site where they were packaged and netted in preparation to be long-lined directly to the Mile 113 staging off the Alaska Highway using a larger 205 helicopter.

Crews utilized "super nets", which enabled the helicopter to transport up to 39 fuel drums at once, minimizing the number of trips required with the 205.

At the Mile 113 staging, NCPL, Qwest, SMC and NFWRx staff loaded waste onto trailers and trucked it to the Fort Nelson dump for disposal. See Photo's 5 & 6 for before and after clean up. Photos 7,8,9 of material removed and final crew.

The type of contamination and garbage dumping that lead to the waste in the Gataga River basin should no longer be taking place in the region. In addition to wider policy change over time, companies such as project-partner Fabled Copper Corp are working diligently to ensure effective stewardship of the lands they develop. Non-profits such as WSSBC are dedicated to conserving valuable wildlife habitat in Northeast BC and it has been very effective and efficient to work in collaboration with them. As such, after the clean-up of the identified sites, we hope to focus attention in the surrounding basins and watersheds to decrease the risk of this type of pollution occurring in the area again.

Fabled Copper is a junior mining exploration company. Its current focus is to creating value for stakeholders through the exploration and development of its existing copper properties located in northern British Columbia. The Muskwa Project comprises a total of 76 claims in two non-contiguous blocks and totals approximately 8,064.9 hectares, located in the Liard Mining Division in northern British Columbia.

Desalinated Water Agreement Advanced as Part of Pre-Feasibility Planning

Los Andes Copper Ltd. (TSXV: LA) (OTCQX: LSANF) ("Los Andes" or the "Company") is pleased to report on progress on its Vizcachitas large-scale copper project in Chile. A letter of intent has been signed with Desala Petorca SPA to work on the project option to use desalinated seawater for the project ("Desala"). Desala is a firm dedicated to the development of water desalinization for water consumption and irrigation under a multi-purpose and multi-client scale. Desala is developing plans for a desalinated plant in the coast of Papudo, V Region, with a capacity of approximately 2,050 ltssec. The agreement with Desala advances an important option for the project consistent with sustainable mining for copper which is an essential metal for electrification.

R. Michael Jones, CEO of Los Andes, said: "We continue to advance our Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) on our world-class copper project with a target date of completion in Q4 2022. Advancing the engineering and project development plans to include the potential for collaboration on desalinated water adds an important sustainable option to the project. We have the opportunity in the Vizcachitas Copper Project to design a mine with sustainability as a core principle. The Desala collaboration when constructed can be a potential positive contributor to local water availability for our region."

In other work on the PFS, the team is finalizing the updated resource model to include the excellent results obtained so far in the 2022 drill program and complete the required iterations of the open pit mine plan. Optimizations of the mill and metallurgical work are underway using dry stack tailings and a high-pressure grinding rolls system to crush the ore for processing. These two features significantly reduce water and energy consumption in the process of taking rocks through to copper concentrate. The addition of the potential for the use of desalinated water makes Vizcachitas an excellent example of a truly modern large-scale mine designed to minimize environmental and social impacts.

Los Andes Copper plans to resume exploration drilling soon with the objective of adding to the scale potential of the project outside the current PFS mine plans.

The Company also is continuing its program of community engagement with a local development projects program and planned weekly meetings across the region.

Los Andes Copper is increasing its interactions in the capital markets and has been gradually growing its following and institutional ownership. Recognition of copper as essential to electrification and the energy transition is increasing and as it does the universe of retail investor and institutional investment interest are both building. Copper is #electricbynature.
