Bombardier just unveiled its newest private jet that will fly at near-supersonic speeds— the Global 8000.
The plane will be the industry's fastest and longest-range purpose-built business aircraft on the market.
Onboard are four separate living areas, including a meeting room, a dining room, a cinema room, and a bedroom.
Bombardier, a world leader in manufacturing business jets, just unveiled its newest plane, the flagship Global 8000.
The aircraft will be the fastest and longest-range purpose-built private jet on the market, one-upping the company's Global 7500, which currently stands as the world's largest and longest-range business plane.
Powered by highly efficient General Electric Passport engines, the plane will be able to reach near-supersonic speeds of 0.94 Mach and fly 8,000 nautical miles (9,206 miles).
The incredible range will allow the jet to connect cities like Los Angeles and Singapore and London and Perth.
According to Bombardier, the company has been testing the high speeds on a Global 7500 demonstrator aircraft.
Accompanied by a NASA F/A-18 chase plane, the Global 7500 has repeatedly hit supersonic speeds of 1.015 Mach, which is a "key step in enabling a maximum Mach operating speed (MMO) of M0.94."
As far as the cockpit, the plane features Bombardier's "Vision" flight deck, which has its "next generation fly-by-wire technology" that maximizes safety.
Meanwhile, the aircraft's "Smooth Flex Wing" enhances flight smoothness and allows for "control and agility at all speeds."
The combined wings and engines allow the Global 8000 to operate on "the longest range from even the shortest runways—and in all weather conditions."
Also improved is the Global 8000's cabin, which is the "healthiest cabin in the industry," according to the planemaker.
The aircraft boasts a 2,900-foot cabin altitude when flying at 41,000 feet, which is the lowest in its class. The jet also has the "cleanest" cabin with Bombardier's "Pũr Air" technology and advanced HEPA filters.
Bombardier says the improved features are intended to "maximize passenger comfort, health, and productivity."
In addition to first-of-its-kind performance, the Global 8000 has an impressive interior, complete with the company's unique zero-gravity Nuage seats, a bed, and a kitchen.
Specifically, the plane's typical configuration includes a club suite, a conference suite, an entertainment suite, and a bedroom with an ensuite shower.
The club suite includes storable tables that sit between two sets of Nuage seats. The specially designed loungers offer a deep recline and moveable headrests.
The conference suite can be used as a meeting room or a dining room for six guests.
Meanwhile, the entertainment suite features a three-person couch, and large 4K TV, storage space, and Bombardier's l'Opéra audio system.
Probably the most impressive room on the plane is the bedroom, which includes a full-size bed, a large closet, a 32-inch TV, storage tables, and loungers.
Attached to the bedroom is an ensuite bathroom with a wardrobe, a vanity table, a standing shower, and access to the luggage compartment at the back of the plane.
Each living space has Bombardier's touch dial and suite controllers, which conveniently control things like sound, lighting, and temperature. The technologies are specially designed for the Global 7500 and Global 8000, according to Bombardier.

According to the company, the enhancements on the Global 8000 can be retrofitted onto current Global 7500s.
Bombardier's Global 8000 is expected to start deliveries in 2025 and, once on the market, will be the industry's fastest civil aircraft since the iconic Concorde.
However, it may not be alone. Colorado-startup Boom Supersonic is hoping to debut its high-speed aircraft, Overture, by 2025, with its first flight planned for 2026.

The plane is expected to fly at 1.7 Mach, or about 1,300 miles per hour, and be configured in an 88-seat all-business class cabin.

United Airlines is on track to be the launch carrier, with 15 planes on order. The company hopes to have the jet in service by 2029, cutting flight time to London and Tokyo by several hours.
